Hey Pais Bracket Contest Winners!
Okay, you guys. It is time to announce the winners of the Hey Pais bracket contest! I scored everyone's ballots using standard scoring, which seemed the most fair. Out of a possible 63 points, your first place winners scored 41 points! That's pretty awesome!!




It is a guy and a girl! Their names are Drew Millette and Mel Pritchard. You can look at their winning bracket here.  Mel draws a comic on Facebook that you can read! (She said soon she will have her own website, I will link to it when it is real!) I looked through her comics so I could try to draw these two, I hope it came out okay. In the next few days I will draw them a Hey Pais comic and send it to their mailbox! Thank you for playing, Mel and Drew! You guys are so awesome! 

Now Drew and Mel may have had the most accurate bracket. But so many of your brackets were so great that I decided to have some other categories of awards.

My friend Scott Ritchings and his friend Muffin the Cat made a really awesome bracket. They didn't get that many points--okay in Muffin's excitement about bacon she actually left a lot of the spaces blank--but there are funny pictures and little jokes all over it! Scott and Muffin, you win the Straight Clownin' Award for Funniest Bracket! You can see their bracket here. You should really go look at it; it made the guy and girl laugh pretty hard. Scott is a talented artist too, you can see more of his drawings on his livejournal.




You may remember that I asked the mice to hang up their brackets on the side of the washing machine. Well a few people did too! Most notable was John Campbell (Famous Person), because his was the most accurate. John, you win the Hey Pais HQ Award!



And finally, only one person predicted the final champion, LOAFING. That person is my friend Steve Wolfhard! You can see Steve's whole (pretty color-coded) bracket here. Steve, you win the Loafmaster General Award for Excellence in Loafing!
